Cafe Bueno: Your Crib in a Busy Roundabout

Roundabouts are often busy areas where cars are congested most of the time—although they were supposed to have the opposite effect—resulting in heavy traffic. However, amid the very occupied roundabout in Dolores, Taytay, Cafe Bueno seems to give a calming aura, almost negating the crowdedness in the junction, sharing a stillness that of a mountain.

Directions

People from Angono, Binangonan, or Antipolo may opt to ride any Crossing-Ilalim or Tropical jeepneys and ask the driver to drop you off in Tikling. You can easily spot Cafe Bueno as it is seemingly situated on a hilltop, just near the bridge. If you are from Cainta or far beyond SM East, ride any jeep going to Antipolo.

Place

The interior of Cafe Bueno looked like an office cafeteria, accentuated by a large mural and floor-to-ceiling windows. They say simplicity is beauty, and Cafe Bueno might have just applied this motto. They do not have a specific theme, but a professional vibe is surely noticeable—just perfect for your meetings.

Outside sets a different atmosphere, much closer to nature amid its location. Perfect for barkada meetups, Cafe Bueno has tables good for four to five people; it almost looked a food park. Wooden benches, patios—name it. However, remember to leave your cigarettes as the cafe is now a smoke-free area.

Food

For Cafe Bueno, we went for their best-selling beef tapa (Php 165), chicken alfredo (Php 199), and white chocolate mocha (Php 140). While the last two were fine but not extraordinary, a 7/10 and a 6/10, respectively, their beef tapa was tasty and fresh—perfect for your breakfast. They need to improve their coffee though.
