Unit 27 Apartment: Red Lights and Good Company

First, happy twenty-eight birthday, Micah! Mukha ka talagang hindi tumatanda!

After n months of planning, my friends from my elementary school have finally met last July 2 at Eastwood where the birthday celebrator, my friend Micah, works. They let me decide where to eat because, you know, the typical conversation would just go like this:

“Saan niyo gusto kumain?”

“Kahit saan.”

Until we’d spend an hour thinking where to eat. Anyway, we decided to have our very tita chikahan at Unit 27.

Directions

I preferred riding until Rosario, Pasig, and then rode a jeep with a “Cubao/Eastwood” sign (minimum fair). Tell the driver to drop you at Eastwood.

Place

I loved the “sexy” vibes of the place. Red and orange lights accentuated the walls, and their couches and seats are clean.

They have a CR upstairs . . . with a bidet! I didn’t check if they had WiFi, but they had outlets if you want to work. However, their bar is open during weekends, so I wouldn’t recommend working there . . . unless you prefer loud music while working.

Food

I ordered their truffled mushroom pasta (Php 395.00). Though the taste is an 8/10, it’s still a bit pricey for me. I would try their coffee next time and update this blog.

Also, ang sarap ng coke.

Experience

Micah (left) and Nini (right)—also known as Mic and Micc, respectively—are my friends since 2001. We all met at Assumption Antipolo and eventually discovered that we lived near one another. Our love for anime and wrestling somehow made us friends.

We had a very tita chikahan. We even planned for an out-of-town trip, which eventually escalated to an out-of-the-country trip. Anyway, we talked about how everyone is getting married, kids, how most didn’t like having kids anymore, work, career path, and how hard it was to earn money. Very tita.
