December 2019 Update: I just learned last September 2019 that the Villars own Coffee Project. While this cafe is very aesthetic, I highly recommend supporting other coffee shops owned by families who are not detached to the suffering of our farmers. Thank you.
I am emphasizing that it’s near Greenbelt because my friend and I took a taxi, afraid that it’s too far from our office, only to discover that it’s just a walk away!
The Coffee Project is the chill spot you’re looking for to enjoy your coffee while working or maybe chatting with a friend. Besides the aesthetics, we loved the instrumental music that added to the chill vibe while we remained focused on our tasks.
We went there around 7 p.m. on a rainy Friday evening. We were lucky there were no people yet, so we were able to get a spot where we (1) could work on a big table, (2) enjoy our own corner, and (3) could charge our devices, just in case.
Directions
From Greenbelt 1 (the entrance near Rustan’s supermarket), look for Gamboa and walk straight ahead. Turn to the first right corner (Trasierra). Walk until you reach the second street corner (Aguirre). And voila! You’re there.
Food
I ordered the usual creamy pesto and mushroom pasta (Php 210) and a grande vanilla macadamia coffee-free frappe (Php 160). I have to rate the pasta an 8/10, while the frappe a 9/10.
If you’re ordering the same one that I had, make sure you order something salty that could complement the sweetness of the frappe.

Place
I love the entire place! There were bikes glued on the ceiling, the hanging lamps were beautiful, the walls and ceilings were lovely, the plants—not sure if they were real—blended well with the wooden shelves and tables. Besides the really creative interiors, they offered free WiFi for two hours (or I’m not sure if it depends on your order).
If I had to nitpick, I had to say the CR had no bidet. Haha. However, I heard that the place could be crowded at times.
