Kopi Kopi Cafe and Kitchen: A Hidden Cafe in Cainta’s Village East

I found Kopi Kopi Cafe when we decided to celebrate mass at Village East, a subdivision in Cainta, Rizal, near Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall. I was surprised how a cute cafe existed in a secluded place. Anyway, last Sunday, as I was searching for cafes so I could concentrate on my work (and post something for my Instagram feed as well, teehee), I remembered Kopi Kopi Cafe and decided to give it a try.

How to Go There

From Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall, ride any jeep going to Angono/Binangonan Hi-way or Cainta/Taytay (Php 8.00, minimum fair). Tell the driver to drop you at Village East. (You have to cross the pedestrian lane.)

Remember to bring an ID. You have to surrender at least one ID before you could ride a tricycle (Php 20.00). However, the place is just a 15-minute walk from the gate, so you might consider that too.

Food

I ordered one of their bestsellers, chicken sisig pasta (Php 129.00), and partnered it with my all-time favorite, cookies and cream frappe (Php 99.00). For me, the pasta can be shared, though the waitress said it only served one.

I have to give both a 7/10. (I am not picky with food, so I decided to rate food that tasted okay but with no qualities that outperformed others a 7.)

Place

The place was fairly neat. There were ornaments made from Styrofoam, a couch with a huge teddy bear, the usual frames, and umbrellas on top. They allow charging, only if you ordered Php 200 above.

Bonus

There’s a food park near Village East’s entrance called Village Eats (witty!) The food park would have been nice if there were actual people eating there. Most of the stalls were closed, given that they’re open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. While the number of visitors were disappointing, their open-mic singers were really good!

Village Eats Food Park is located at 9 Village East Executive Homes, Brgy Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal.
