Because I became busy with work, I wasn’t able to write reviews about movies I had watched since 2018 started. I summarized my spoiler-free review of them below.
- The Greatest Showman (10/10)
- I get why some critics didn’t like it (try searching for the man behind the circus)
- Superb songs and choreography (favorites: Rewrite the Stars, A Million Dreams, This Is Me, Never Enough)
- Adorable costumes
- Too much feels
- The Shape of Water (9.5/10)
- I guess this is now my favorite romance movie
- Beauty in uniqueness and a love that sees no boundaries
- Loved the ending
- Lady Bird (9/10)
- Effective acting
- Relevant plot, especially for adolescents
- My “shojo” of the year
- A Quiet Place (8.5/10)
- Science on point
- Unique idea
- I need more thrill though
- Black Panther (8/10)
- I really had high expectations, so I was a bit disappointed after watching it.
- Too predictable
- Dry humor
- Favorite scene: W’Kabi and Okoye, favorite character: M’Baku
- Maze Runner: The Death Cure (7/10)
- Nothing beats the first
- But this one had a good ending, like it settled all the issues I had in the first two films
- Disappointed with the love team
- One unanswered question: What is it about Thomas?
- Jumanji (7/10)
- Low expectations, but surprisingly, I enjoyed it
- Funny characters

- Just completed the series for fun
- I still don’t like controlling men
