There were three things that the book inside my bag made me feel when I went to a bookstore earlier:
Guilt. I felt it when I went around the bookstore even when I had no intentions of buying a book because of the book inside my bag, which I was not done reading yet.
Embarrassment. I was about to leave when the alarm beeped. It was probably because of the book inside my bag since the price tag was still on it.
Relief. I didn’t have to explain to the security guard that I was not a shoplifter and that I just had a book inside my bag.
